Brutal fight reccomendations

    Hey guys, I'm making a boxing video reflecting on fighters getting hurt in the ring, which acts as a reminder to us all that these guys put their health on the line in every fight and each fighter that steps into the ring deserves our respect, especially as boxing fans.
    I'm in need of some inspiration, could you guys recommend any recent fights (has to be recent so I can find a HD copy of it) which shows a fighters courage under fire, and of course brutal knockouts.

    That is one of the best fight highlights i have ever seen in my entire life..... thank you!

    I was going to bring up Salido vs Lopez but you got that in there.

    Not sure if you could find any HD of Trinidad blasting Vargas, or Hoya blasting him (thats pretty good shots for a video like that, think tito's last knockdown on vargas where he slumps down head first kinda, tries yet again to get back up even though hes got nothing left to give and doesnt know where hes at, and the ref has to stop it as vargas falls back down)

    anyways, great, great highlight i am simply stunned.

    Take Zab Judah and Andre Dirrell fights out of there, Dirrell faked getting stopped nad Judah got hit on a borderline belt shot and started crying "Ma Baaallsss!!!" all over again

    Gerald McClellan V Nigel Benn - McClellan was permanently damaged from that fight
    Chris Eubank V Michael Watson - Watson was put in a coma after this fight
    Duk-Koo Kim VS. Ray Mancini - Duk-Koo kim went into a coma afterwords and died 4 days later

    Also the Enzo Maccarinelli - Alexander Frenkel stoppage was brutal

    Just random suggestions....

    When casa landed that huge bomb on katsidis in the 10th round, ending Katsidis's hopes of winning a title in a brutal and heartbreaking fahsion.

    And at the moment the lyrics say 'needle tears a hole' maybe cut out lopez and put in a video of a cutman working on a bad cut, or margaritos face in the pac fight when being asked to count the fingers and whatnot.

    but anyways just random suggestions its almost so perfect it shouldnt be touched lol.... what a fantastic job man thank you for making it and sharing it with us.

    the only footage of the Duk-koo kim fight I could find is quite poor quality. It deserves to be in there because of the significance and tragedy of that fight but the footage quality would make it a bit incongruous . I selected a very poignant moment in the McClellan fight, he takes a knee and it cuts to a close up of him breathing really heavily. Absolutely tragic.

    Also whilst your video is very well put together technical wise try taking out some shots like Pacs jizz face :lol: have Pac-Morales 1 instead and maybe just the Morales KO

    Also if your going to use a Mayweather-Mosley clip use the one where Floyd gets hurt

    then you have Abraham-Miranda with Abrahams broken jaw
    The thriller in Manilla aswell
    Klitscko-Lewis ending on that horrific cut
    Bowe-Golota low blows :lol: those were ****ing brutal to watch
    Donaire-Montiel stoppage

    There are more i just havent slept so too tired to think of more :lol:

    Yeah, ive been studying art and design for the past 4 years (just starting my bachelours degree in graphic design) so i can udnerstand where your coming from with the quality of the video, however sometimes you can take from the lack of quality and add to it (brings a somewhat nostalgic feeling) Im sure theres a higher quality video of it somewhere

    Thank you all very much for the kind words. The suggestions are great. Vargas knockdown was brutal, and I love the idea of showing a cut man working on a bad cut,really good stuff.
    @Jordon: I love the mcclellan suggestion, I remember watching that as a kid and getting goosebumps a real tragic shot. In regards to the older videos, I want to use he footage, but I agree that I can use some video tricks to make it work.

    All fantastic suggestions guys, I'll try and accommodate them.
    Also, I thought Dirrel got hurt, it was a cheap shot and Judah shot looks good in context, but if you know the story of the fight I guess the image alone won't work. I'll try and replace these shots.
