That was a bomb of a left hook, although how Rodriguez didn't see it I don't know as Wilson full on telegraphed it - great shot none the less. Just goes to show how padded Rodriguez record is, 36-0 with 34 stoppages but literally fought nobody of note. Wilson on the other hand, he'll literally go in with anyone. Looking at his record, he'd only won once in his last 12 fights but they were all decent operators. Put it this way, Wilson would probably be 36-0 himself if he decided to fight the same level of opposition.
If you notice, Rodriguez is just about to throw a left hook too but as the saying in boxing goes never try to hook with a hooker as the one thing Wilson does have is a devastating left hook. To be fair to Rodriguez he had been out of the ring for 2 years which included suffering from a nasty knife attack that cut his face up and was winning the fight fairly comfortably until that last round...had he lasted another 10 seconds till the end of the fight he would have won pretty wide on the scorecards.
