Because you don't understand the aftermath and what came after those pics

 

This is Al Seeger after the Victor Fonseca fight. What you see is standard procedure when brain bleed raises pressure, they need to open up the skull and let the swelling out. Everything depends how fast they operate, they managed to save Seeger's life.

As a tragic coincidence, this came right after Al's very fight vs. Benjamin Flores who also suffered brain hematoma and passed away shortly. It must be a terrible feeling for the fighter inflicting the damage and Seeger was very unfortunate to experience both sides of the story.

This is why I say this glass jaw / glass brain **** is just not funny. Avatars of Jermain Taylor laying on the canvas uncounscious with a glass jaw photoshopped is not funny, neither the Roy Jones or Maccarinelli version. These fighters risk their lives for our entertainment, and last think they deserve is to joke around of them suffering damage to their head. It's ****ing insulting and I'd ban all these so called chin checkers. It's not acceptable in any way because of this.

I just read that his opponent before this fight a guy named benjamin flores died after their fight:-( really brutal.

The picture with the black guy kneeling down in the corner looking like he's in pain is Gerald McClellan.
Gerald McClellan had a fight with Benn, where he suffered from a blood clot in his brain. He lost his eyesight, ability to walk and became 80% deaf. He is now being cared for by his three sisters.

The other fighters in the pictures that were posted all died after the fight. That's Ezzard Charles killing somebody, Sugar Ray Robinson killing somebody, and I'm not sure about the rest.

 

That is ****ed up. I never thought I'd see the cross section of a lip.
