Only his second win. Now got a 2-16-1 record. I thought it would be the other guy watching it up until that point.
The home fighter seemed to have good support, hopefully he can come again. Journeymen are better than many people think and it was a punch available from the home fighter for a while. However I don't imagine his phone will be ringing anytime soon if this goes viral.
My first small hall experience ( forgot date ) was at Seymour Hall in London, one of the first legit Frank Warrens promotions, top of the bill was Gary Knight v Rocky Kelly, what a fight, Kelly down once, Knight down twice, think Rocky won on points ! long shot (very ) anybody on here there with me ? maybe not.. keep well.
That sounds like an exciting fight. I expect small hall's are generally 9/10 to the home fighter in a snorefest essentially sparring but some fighters giving it a go makes better learning and better fights. Recently Paddy Lacey had a great fight on a VIP card vs a journeyman called Stanko who was up for it.
