Here's a gif of a fighter I really admire, Yuh Myung Woo, brutalizing his opponent before the referee intervenes. Decent job by the referee, someone could have gotten seriously hurt had that not been stopped right there and then. Enjoy.

I doubt if Iron Boy would've moved up to 108 during that era, with fighters like Yuh, Chang, and Zapata around. Yuh's workrate was something else; amazing stamina and durability.

ref should have stopped it earlier, like after the gum shield went into orbit.

Absolutely. I still reckon he's more talented than many seem to credit him for. I own four of his fights, and seen two others on youtube. He consistently impresses me with the combination's he throws. They aren't flurries, like a talentless work horse would throw, they are calculated, and well placed. Maybe not as talented as Chang...but he was no Carlos Baldomir.

 Yeah, I was thinking the same. I'm sure the swings were just reflex actions. The poor ****er was long gone.

Wow, now that's a great example of a fighter who was "out on his feet". It's like real life rock 'em sock 'em robots.

Yeah, he should've jumped in after the left hand that makes the poor guy look like a bobble-head.

Not a chance considering the weight differential.

Oh yeah and the resulting brain damage.

Yuh was not a one punch knockout artist, if he had been, he'd have been close to unbeatable. He broke his opponents down, and was technically quite good. Used a jab, and would often bring a good left body shot behind it...and it'd tell late on, whereas Yuh would score late knockdowns or even stoppages. He had enough power to get respect.
