One of the more brutal showings in the history of the light-fly division. For anyone who hasn't seen it, Yuh is in the blue shorts:

Son was never stopped before or after this fight. There to be hit and with pretty crappy head movement he was always going to be meat for Yuh's sandwhich, perhaps, but "game" doesn't really begin to cover his performance. Fighter's don't get much braver than this, I started to feel a little sorry for him between 5 and 6, he looks in a little distress, but only knows how to fight one way.

Thoughts on the fight and on Yuh more generally? He would go on to lift the title in his next fight, if memeory serves.

When I was making a HL for this guy, half of it was from this performance. EVERYONE should watch it...

Still working on it mate. There would be sections where it'd literally be Yuh dodging 3-4 punches. It's so weird I come on here too see this because I'm in awe when I watch it...Dominates in every respect, his combinations are fluid, his upper-body movement majestic...BEST UPLOAD EVER.

This was the only Yuh fight I had for ages...so I must of watched it 40 times.

Just brutality defined. Yuh's body attack is insane and he has that kind of power that isnt quite enough to get someone out of there abruptly but still cause major damager through accumulation.

Really this fight should have been stopped a lot earlier.

Yeah, it's defined alright, thesaurus no less.

This is one of those fights where I start to feel more admiration for the fighter taking the beating than the one giving it out. Just guts, guts, guts. I always get the feeling the referee would like to stop it but he can't because Son just keeps firing back.

    You watching the cricket?

Yuh was relentless with doubling to head and body, he did it very well. It wouldn't have been fair if he had knockout power because he was so adept at everything else. He parry's brilliantly here.

Yeah, i'm probably not as high of his defence as you Addie, but I do love the way he picks the shots.

For me the most horrible punches he throws in are those left hooks to the body. Son has a good guard to the body, his elbows are often tucked right in, but it's just lazer-guided heat-seaking accuracy on those punches. Horrible, horrible.

In this fight, he shows great defensive skills I feel. His upper body movement, and countering in particular. His best performance alongside Gamez II.

I'm looking forwards to seeing your highlight. When you sober up, pick out a couple of your favourite defensive moments from the video for me.

Son was game, and game fighters can be difficult to handle, but even when he'd flurry, Yuh would either completely move out of way of the punches or he'd limit the damage by rolling with the shots. I'll be more specific tomorrow, bit pissed, but huge kudos for uploading this beauty.
