I'm glad for Drumond...sad that for no reason I got to see, Jack's thread got deleted. I was about to demonstrate with statistics to back up my position. :sad2

    Round 5

Parejo moves left and double his shots up, throwing a left hook and a whipping right into either side of Flores' face. Flores no longer has a monopoly on coming forward, and indeed Parejo is able to steer him into a corner. Parejo keeps whipping away, landing a bit to the head but more to the body as he mixes it up. It's OVER! Wait, no. The referee stepped in and grabbed Parejo's glove, but not to announce him the winner. I think he took a point for low blows. Big difference. They resume. Flores is flailing after his man, turned southpaw now for what little good it does him.

    9-9

(Parejo round but it seems he lost a point)

    Round 6

Flores comes forward lunging with both hands. Parejo steps back. Flores stands for a moment and bashes his thumbs together like a giddily belligerent baby seal, and then it's back on the attack. Flores is tossing leather all over the place, vaguely in the direction of the outside-tracking and wide-hooking Parejo. This critical and deciding round is up for grabs, as is the fight itself on my card. Flores keeps coming forward raining down blows. Parejo is leaning back and using his feet to stay off the end of Flores' shots, and lands a good hook coming off the ropes to blow by him.

    57-56 Parejo

Parejo won on points but Miguel was too busy talking about Drumond to mention it.

    Round 1

Vazquez glides on the outside, left then right and back again. Long jabs from Vazquez. Benavides overreaches and misses some right hooks and long left hands. Vazquez swoops in with an uppercut before sliding back out of the pocket. Very smooth movement by Vazquez, making miss almost all his shots. Hooks to the face, and a hard hammering pair of rights to the brow by Vazquez. Hooks to the body by Vazquez while turning Benavides. Vazquez leans back at the waist and lets Benavides chop away inches from his face, then rebounds with a counter.

    10-9 Vazquez

IB, how are you keeping up? The site's been locked out for me for several minutes.

Right now, waddup is a massive download of Larry Holmes fights. As soon as it's done, I'm going to be all

    Round 2

Benavides starts aggressive, pushing Vazquez back to the ropes and firing hard with both hands. Vazquez uses some slick defensive moves and starts to unroll his jab from outside. Benavides tries to duck through it and gets headlocked. Vazquez is controlling distance with his jab and footwork, and spinning his fists out into Benavides' face speedbag-style.

    20-18 Vazquez

Vazquez hurting Benavides with those nice uppercuts inside. Quit panning over to that chick! Benavides is quite active though.

    Round 3

Vazquez dances outside, jabbing with his left. Vazquez floats in, and uses his left arm as a lever to back the charging Benavides out into range. Vazquez is jabbing and ducking in to hold as Benavides whacks his way in. Nice counter hooks buried into the head of Benavides. Vazquez is staying tall, twisting his body around and holding his arms up to block both high and low. Benavides drives his head into Vazquez's chest until implored to let go by the referee. Combos from outside by Vazquez, aiming down at Benavides' head.

    30-27 Vazquez

    Round 4

Benavides comes forward throwing wild overhand left leads and Vazquez is backing up as quickly as he can, shrinking away between raised shoulders and trying to counter with slapping left hooks and poke-through rights. Benavides is getting inside, rumbling to the body but not landing too cleanly as his head remains turned down with his eyes cast toward the sprawl of their nearly-tangled legs. Vazquez is backing up and working hooks to the body as Benavides misses lunging lefts up from his advancing crouch. Vazquez lines up his lead right from outside, showing his mouthpiece and huffing a bit but still looking composed and firmly in command.

    40-36 Vazquez
