Ranked #33 right now at Boxrec, he is coming back after getting hammered and slaugthered by Ortiz in 12/2015.

He came back with TKOing Martz and Haynesworth in August/December 2017, this year he already fought and KOd Muralimov back in February and now he will face Dawejko next weekend at the undercard of Magdaleno/Dogboe in Philly.

What we can expect from him? Maybe a title shot later this year or probably next year? Is a shot vs Wilder realistic (after Wilder beats Breazeale if it really happens of course).

I mean he has a good rythm since coming back, four fights within eight months is a solid number and quantity.

Jennings looked pretty good recently, he was in great shape and he is still at a perfect age (will turn 34 later this year) to fight on a high level for at least 3-5 years.

I hope he will fight a bigger name after Dawejko and then getting a shot vs a title holder, Wilder might be realistic, maybe Whyte. Of course it depends on what happen next with Wilder/Whyte/AJ.

Jennings was only knocked out/down once in his career (by King Kong Luis Ortiz) and survived 12 rounds vs Wlad in 2015 who fought Fury six months later.

A good fight for Jennings and a fight he should win.

Jennings is a great athlete and has a great reach, but he is really lacking in the skills department. He's good enough to get back to the top 10 if he applies himself, but I have a hard time seeing him beating Wilder or Joshua.

Despite having an 84 inch reach he has no jab and his defense is non existent.

Not sure how good Jennings is. Loved his war with Ortiz. And his close losing effort to Wladimir was and still is underrated. He overall performed only slightly poorer than Fury did against Wladimir, despite complete tactical differences and Wladimir being willing to at least flick out the jab repeatedly.

He looked like dog**** against a shot Wlad a few years ago. He’s basically a resume padder for hire.

    that's a good philly fight

I think him vs breazle or Molina would be decent

I wouldn't mind him vs Martin to thin the herd

He has talent but southpaw Ortiz made him look bad and dropped him with those uppercuts. Shows you how lacking in boxing knowlege are the current crop. Jenning can beat a few guys but the top guys Joshua, Wilder and Povetkin should beat him well

Dawejko is a scrappy troublesome guy but loses the big ones & this should be much of the same

His journey to the TOP 10 of HW is like my journey on foot to China.

I attended the Wlad Jennings bout. Wlad looked real bad, I think Jennings never seized the moment. His mindset was poor for that fight. He had a real shot had he pushed himself. Instead he was lured into a dull waltz by a fighter who had clearly slipped.
Jennings prior to the Wlad fight showed a lot of promise. I thought he was a far better prospect than Wilder. However, he vanished after the Ortiz fight. I think his prime is past and I’m not sure how much is heart was ever really into the sport. I followed his twitter for awhile, he was complex man, that sometimes would show true insight but most of the time would post some really bizarre perspectives. Not sure where his head was at

If bums like Breazeale or Kownacki can enter the Top 10 of HWD then Jennings has a chance for sure although he is 33.

Jennings is nothing special.I had Mike Perez beating him 7-5 but Jennings got the decision in USA of course. Then he got decent payday vs Wlad in a dull fight and then Jennings swapped trainer and decided to take a very risky come back fight against Ortiz and got knocked out.

John David Jackson adviced him not ot take on Ortiz because he is on steroids or whatever risky fight but Jennings didnt listen.Just checked and they are still team for the incoming fight-interesting.

Jennings lacks height, power and boxing ability to achieve anything more than a gatekeeper status.
