Seems Jennings has signed a co-promotional contract with Gary Shaw and Antonio Leonard Promotions.

Not sure if this will help or hurt his career, he had a good 2012 and has really stalled lately, hopefully he gets back in the ring soon.

I had no idea Jennings could sing. I knew Shaw could sing.

Some people have described Jennings as the song bird of his generation.

He was, despite his long tenure on NBC Sports (whose major partner is Main Events), previously with Peltz, right?

    :think

Not a bad decision, it's about time he moved on up. With all due respect to Peltz they are pretty small time. Bryant was their biggest name along with Gabe Rosado and Mike Jones. (after that it's the likes of Ronald Cruz and Teon Kennedy, and then ...crickets...)

You may be right about Pelts being his former promoter, I just figured he was with Main Events due to the NBC cards.

I think Peltz did pretty good with him, gettting him on NBC a number of times and having HBO, Showtime, and the Klitschko's interested in him and he's had all of 17 fights.

But, yeah, he's ready to move onto the next level and going with a bigger promoter could be the smart move to help with that. I'd just like to see him back in the ring, he's really had a lackluster 2013 so far after really breaking out last year.

I think Duva wanted to get their mitts on him that whole time, but he remained loyal to Russell Peltz. ...until now, anyway. Shaw must have made a better offer.

Hopefully they compensated RP well for it with a bonus on the buyout or something, because you're right, he was brought along fairly well for someone without big league backing.

    Hopefully 2014 is his year.

Shaw said he's going to get him back in the ring soon, I doubt its anyone great but everything should be in place for a big 2014.

He's too small without enough power to be a top heavyweight
