Round 1

Stevenson is gliding effortlessly around the ring, making Rosales miss very badly and punishing him with sharply timed counters in threes and fours, hissing through his teeth with each punch, sounding like air being continuously released from a large vehicle's tire. Nice counter uppercut by Stevenson bouncing in & out as Rosales nearly spins himself into a face-plant slashing at phantoms with his big winding hooks. Stevenson keeping the right jab fluttering in Rosales' face to set everything up.

Round 2

Stevenson is opening up a cut on the brow of Rosales with his incisive counters on the backfoot and circling in on him, weaving through his wide hooks, using straighter punches to effectively tame his opponent. Rosales is scooping in a few rights above the waistband, yet Stevenson remains in close, undeterred, throwing four-punch combinations at the head while barely getting swiped on the side in return.

Round 3

Stevenson is starting to drive Rosales across the ring, shrugging off his body shots like nothing and feeding him right jabs, along with looping lefts banging into the right ear to sap his equilibrium. Lead left uppercuts by Stevenson now, hurting Rosales, herding him into the ropes. Stevenson effectively blocking most of Rosales' body shots on his horizontally turned forearm, fending them off and countering in one follow-through motion. Rosales hanging in there, retreating into the ropes and leaping atop Stevenson with an ambush, flurrying but to no avail, everything slipped.
