    Jennings is retreating unerringly into the ropes, snapping pivots to clear the corners, but otherwise letting Rivas dictate everything, totally surrendering generalship and squeezing his forearms together in order to screen out what he can when Rivas catches up to him. A few defensive stay-away jabs by Jennings, but not stepping into them, not even bending his knees when he throws on the backfoot. Rivas is jamming his own stiff high jabs between Jennings' gloves and lapping in a few body shots in pursuit.

    1st and 4th have been the clearest rounds, IMO. (for Jennings and Rivas, respectively)

    The middle two you could argue either way, so any score is possible right now from 39-37 Jennings to 39-37 Rivas.

    Jennings is shooting jabs into the bald dome of Rivas, but not committing to it, barely making contact as he flees into the buoyant safety of the ropes and goes hopping past Rivas on his toes after each self-propulsion. One good right hand by Jennings, aberrant, mostly fighting scared. Rivas is breaking Jennings' guard apart with a hard jab or 1-2, and then looping in right hands, grazing. Rivas starting to chisel the body with downward-sloping jabs, making Jennings gradually start to lower his guard. Couple of jabs by Jennings spiraling in to middle distance.

    Jennings may have stolen it at the very end with a 1-2. This fight is very difficult to score, and for those that like to use even rounds, this could be the fight for you. 4 of the 5 rounds are close to a coin flip. Has a feeling of a fight someone may win wide and be viewed as a robbery when it's really just a judge liked something he saw in one guy a little more than the other. Interesting fight.

    Jennings is reaching in with the jab but getting knocked into the ropes as Rivas loops a hard right at him, crunching into his left ulna with bruising force. Jennings prattles off light combos into the guard from outside, tiptoeing up to loom over Rivas from a safe perch. Jennings is baiting Rivas, pretending to paint himself into a corner but then dashing out laterally when Rivas steps in on him, peppering the head with a few light jabs. Very pit-pat stuff from Jennings, but just enough to control this one combined with his defensive movement, nullifying Rivas' work.

    The boobirds are starting to come out a little. I don't think it's boring per se, but there really isn't too much going on for a casual fan to enjoy. Didn't think Rivas landed a single punch that round, could be wrong. Jennings, maybe landed 3, lol.
