    And you think Rivas would do better? I don't think so. And Rivas gassed after fist 5 rounds in Hubeux fight and couldn't stop him, that was one of his worst performances in the pro ring.

    You should actually look at Maldonado's record and the guys he's beaten. the high KO% means nothing as everyone he's been in with is a South American cabdriver. I've followed Maldonado's MMA career for a long time and I can tell you that he's not as durable as he once was, is slower and definitely looking his age. He's been stopped in his last two fights once brutally the other was a questionable stoppage but he was catching a beating. Herve Hubeaux himself is levels about Maldonado and would ice him as well.... He's decent guy at European level. Maldonado is taking a massive step up in class while nearly 40 and shopworn from the wars in been in as an MMA fighter. Rivas destroys him regardless of how good he is.
