God, that fight was awful. It was after the Gonzalez fight because I forgot to watch it in the afternoon. I didn't even care after the first round. How the hell would anyone place Dan or Bizier in an eliminator. Hell, a rematch with Porter would've been preferred over the absolute waste of time we got.

 

He should give Porter his rematch and then fight Thurman or Bradley...

 

if you like watching these kind of match ups thats up to you, I'd rather watch two top fighters fighting for a title rather than 1/16 mismatches that are over under 6

 

putting Dan as the no 1 mando does devalue the belt brook has to some degree. with Frankie gavin high in the rankings too it does seem a bit strange who IBF have in their top 15.

why Bradley, khan, Thurman etc didn't want to position themselves for an IBF eliminator is unclear though. At least Dan took fights and travelled to various places to get his shot, rather than sitting there calling people out and only agreeing to fight on his terms with his promoters ref's and judges etc.

 

Well, at least we'll probably never have to see Jo Jo Dan in a world title fight ever again. He performance was complete rubbish.
