BS that was a good stoppage...Alvarado was out on his feet

    i think most ppl wanted alvarado finished like how rios finished acosta, which was a fight that went on too long...and look at acosta now..a ruined fighter..ref saved mike to fight another day...good stoppage

    It was a bad stoppage in some ways. Do I think he couldve continued? Yes? Should he have been given that chance? I think so. Would he had survived? Nope. The guy didn't know how to clinch for nothing. When he got hit he didn't even try. He didn't even try to take a knee to recollect himself. He was just getting winged on honestly, and that last shot knocked his head back hard. Had the referee let this fight continue then the likely result is that he would've gotten brain damage... he wasn't even hitting back. All of these things considered I can understand the stoppage.

    That was Nishioka's corner, not the ref.

    "out on his feet". how many times was Gatti out on his feet?
    a good stoppage if on espn2 between 2 unranked guys. a **** stoppage when between 2 top ranked guys who were in the middle of a dog fan.
