Anyone notice that Frank has still not mentioned PPV numbers for wilder vs fury or the Warrington vs Frampton fight.
9pm on a Friday night and you're on a boxing forum telling people you don't care about the subject at hand. Why?
> Questioning someone posting Friday night. >> Posts on a Friday night On the night shift tonight are we? I suppose you have a point as you're getting paid for it, I'm not. You're almost never off here.
Well, if you're correct and I'm a paid Matchroom employee, then I'm doing my job. You're on here as a normal bloke, spending your Friday night telling people why you don't care about BT PPV numbers. I mean, it's not weird if you are interested. But, if you're not, it's a bit weird. If not tragic. Unless of course, you're a BT shill....
Yet conversely, you're on here as a supposedly normal bloke, on a Friday night telling people why you DO care about PPV numbers.... So what's it to be, MR employee or not? If it's the latter then you're just as "tragic" as me, if it's the former then you're just confirming what a lot of us think. BT shill? I wish, get paid for posting all day, my dream job. Nope, I'm a boxing fan whose sick of seeing every god damn discussion turn into a dick swinging contest about "numbers" first and foremost. Go on the general forum, it's mentioned 1/5th of the time compared to here.
Let's not detract from the topic at hand, which is why BT don't release their appalling PPV figures. Given you don't care, probably best to leave and try to enjoy your life.
That's your reading of it based on your inherent bias and a complete absence of facts, or "data" as you'd probably call it. In terms of duplicity, it still pales into insignificance when you consider Hearn claiming tickets to fights were sold out "in hours", when in reality he was offloading them wholesale to stubhub to sell at inflated prices.
Funny how you're dying to talk about BT's "appalling" PPV figures but adopt a 'nothing to see here' stance on DAZN's appalling viewing figures. Just another day in the matchroom propaganda life of Mr. Tony Hayers! *sigh*
When have I ever mentioned Stubhub? In fact, why are we talking about ticket sales? This is about PPV sales remember? The subject you're really, really not interested in talking about!
Wilder - Fury 2 will do 1m buys on BT...who knows what the first ratings were, but they sure seem desperate to do it again.
