This guy is a bull artist of the highest degree. Constant tall tales, nonsense and attempts at being the star of the show wore thin years ago. Liam Walsh's stoppage loss was a chance for him to make some lame Micheal Flatley joke. The tub of goo actually asked former professional world champion Richie Woodhall ''Do you know how long it takes to get knocked out by a punch?'' Tony Bellew really had a point when he told Bunce what he thought of him. The voice that could break glass doesn't help either. If BT want a journalist to do punditry, ask Ron Lewis, a guy who is actually worth listening to.
No thanks Bunce is fine and the dynamic between him, General Dempsey, Woodhall and Jones is fantastic IMO. Woodhall was talking absolute Shiite about the Walsh stoppage and Bunce was right to tuck him up on that occasion
Buncy knows his stuff but just tries to exaggerate the point. On the other hand BT have got top drawer anchors - Dempsey and McIntyre bring a professionalism and credibility to each show.
I do understand what you're saying, Bunce can be rather irritating sometimes and that comment to Woodhall "do you know how long it takes to get knocked out..." was rather patronising but with respect Woodhall was talking complete rubbish in my opinion when he said he thought Walsh was stopped too early, I think Bunce was absolutely right, the stoppage was maybe even too late but he expressed himself rather poorly and came across as arrogant and patronising. Woodhall was doing what Woodhall always does, he sticks with the house fighter and either over praises or makes excuses and Bunce pulled him on it. It is a little bit rich coming from Bunce because he has done it enough times himself working on Boxnation.
Woodhall is terrible. I remember him going on like Blackwell wasnt getting an absolute beating from Eubank and his commentary was horribly bias throughout.
Woodhall was horrific tonight and hedgehog-head Dempsey is embarrassing as well, bringing up Lacy before the main event. Laughable.
His hyperbole and arrogance would be slightly more tolerable if he had ever boxed himself but he's just a fat, shouty journalist with no sporting background. Get rid.
I like Bunce , its Ronald Mcintosh that makes me cringe , he seems a nice bloke but its his voice, I feel like I am watching eurosport !
Anybody is an improvement on Paul Smuff on Sky Sports and that little bug Paula Muginaggia. How are we expected to take these 2 clowns serious after watching some real stonkers from both in the ring? Both voices are dull and it sounds like somebody is squeezing their heads to allow the shyte to flow from mouth.
