More to the point they'd headline someone like that. The ppv moving to this weekend has hurt them as well as late card changes but literally zero talk on my social media feeds about either card. Considering I follow plenty of boxing fans and media not a great sign.
Haha, true. I like Parker a lot but there was nothing in them shots to keep an opponent honest. Alexander is a tin can these days. The fights you refer to were a couple of years ago+. He had no punch resistance. There was shades of Tommy Langford for me where I can't see him keeping a bullish durable fighter off him should he be matched that way. Maybe he's outgrown the weight?
I thought overall for a card that lost it's main event it was an entertaining night. I actually really liked Sunny Edwards and Lyndon Arthur. Some of the fighter promo's were really decent as well. The DA fight was clearly a nonsense but barring that I thought every fight offered something. Dennis McCann really should go for the English belt, hopefully Frank can sort that out before purse bids. I like Foster alot, did get tagged a bit but think he will be better against better opposition. In flashes he looked very decent. For a debut for QP Parker ticked every box, anhilated a relatively decent bloke. Not seen to much of him, mainly the dodgy British Defence where he clearly lost. Was impressed last night. The Ball vs Gilley fight was a really decent 50/50 think both lads have a future. Gilley needed to press a lot earlier, looked really good at times behind his jab. Ball deserved the win and can imagine Frank will be wanting him in a British eliminator for the winner of Essuman vs Jenkins. Sam Maxwell had a good late stand in, not sold on him and think he struggles with AEB's awkwardness. I enjoyed it. You think QP have lose Ennis-Brown vs Maxwell, Jenkins vs Essoman and Cacace vs Woodstock in their last few shows all through bad luck. Had these have gone ahead, they would have had a genuinely good start to 2021.
