Traña quite game; the Nicaraguan-Spaniard didn't fly in to be anybody's steppingstone. :ggg

Scored by referee Sean McAvoy 58-56 to Bourke.

Traña definitely bagged the second and maybe third round, wasn't paying much attention beyond that but the commentators think McAvoy scored it just about right. Carl Frampton says he might've also nudged the sixth his way to make it a draw.

Over as soon as it started, KO1!!!!!

My goodness, this last Noakes is a beast.

Fight literally might have lasted half a minute. Noakes threw a couple of lulling set-up jabs into the guard while stalking, then from nowhere a pair of hard curveball rights into the side of the jaw that poor Zamora never saw coming. Obliterated him.

Steve Bunce makes a very good point, saying that Great Britain alone has dozens of active pro welterweights - so why import a foreigner who stands no better a chance instead of letting domestic journeymen get on TV?

This was scheduled for light heavy but Itauma was 4½ lbs over the line.

Clearly the Slovakian-British former Olympic youth gold medalist southpaw - younger, faster, rangier and more fluid - is the heavy favorite here, but the 40 year old Algerian-French-Switzer is hanging tough and has clipped him with a few solid straight shots in exchanges.

A very nice way to bridge the undercard mismatches with the (on paper) more competitive title bouts in the co-features.

He was upset just in January, by the very guy making his UK return in the main event. :deal:

Chintzy ruling in the final round there, seemed more like a slip with Graidia's hand grazing the canvas as they stepped together and both slapped with hooks and missed or hit arm (the commentators agree) but, academic really. Itauma should take a wide points victory, maybe a round shy of a shutout; that extra 10-8 swing isn't really affecting the outcome.
