Some more ****s coming to take our money. How much do you think this PED **** fest will cost? £20 I assume? Hilarious to see Fast Eddie etc saying PPV is only model to make big fights (you know Mega fights like Whyte/Parker) and then goes to states and say fans are getting ripped off (I know PPVs are $79-100) but it’s the same model. ****ing sky box office still have adverts in their PPV cards - ever hear one of those dopey YouTube “reporters” ask why we pay subs and PPV and there is still ad breaks in between rounds....

Hearn is quite the hypocrite when it comes to DAZN model and how talks about American fans are ripped off so they ain't gonna do PPV.

But as for us British fans who he cares so much about we still have to be full price for just about any decent card he conjures up.

As for Canelo vs GGG II I think it will struggle being in the early hours of the morning and just before Joshua vs Povetkin and Groves vs Smith.

but also despite the fact that the first fight was a good fight the whole Canelo meat scandal and worries about the scoring have reduced interest for this fight imo.

If the rematch is anything like the original I couldn't give a toss if it's on PPV, regular BT Sport or even terrestrial TV, wouldn't watch it for free, a couple of overly cautious plodders throwing single punches for 12 rounds 90% of which are blocked or miss. No Thanks.

Not a PPV fight in the UK. Numbers will be awful. Anyone who is willing to stay up till 5am will find a stream.

I will watch the next day probably

Apparently the first fight done good numbers according to frank? I agree with you though, I can’t see fans staying up in their hundreds of thousands to watch this. Although this is a PPV worthy fight unlike Frampton - Warrington.

    GGG vs Clenelo is 15/09

    Femi vs Povetkin is 22/09

I don’t see how the Femi fight taking place a week after affects sales or interest at all.

Femi stunk the house out in his last two fights. Although he has loyal fan boys who would watch him against anyone, the interest is wearing thin. Couple that with the duck of the biggest fight out there for him, because he turned down 50 million USD.

GGG vs Clenelo II is the biggest fight in the whole of boxing. There is lots of intrigue in the rematch. This will attract the purists who will pay for it because it’s guaranteed to be in the top 3 biggest fights of 2018.

That will flop massively as well. Quigg Frampton had the sky hype machine behind it and that did very poor.

I will be shocked if it does more than 100k buys in the UK. Of course its a ppv fight but for a fight to do big ppv numbers in tbe UK it needs the more casual fans to be interested and i do not think it does. Fact is Boxnation shouod have won bid to show it, their charging their subscribers £12.99 or so a month for no or little boxing.

i think you overestimate just how much interest there is this time around, it's hardly being promoted with no press conferences and I think at this point everyone just wants it over and done with so we can stop talking about Mexican meat and dodgy judges and move on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've counted about 6 PPVs between now and christmas.

    AJ vs Povetkin
    Groves vs Smith
    GGG vs Canelo
    Warrington vs Frampton
    Bellew vs Usyk
    Wilder vs Fury

And you could also potentialy add Brook vs Khan to that.

How on Earth is that meant to work? Well, I suppose it just will. I should of said "how can the FANS afford all that" ...Beggars belief.

Not all confirmed fights but there and there abouts, there all but confirmed.

Our very own beloved Jurgen must be having fits!

I don't think GGG v Canelo is about 'big numbers'. They probably just want to iron any bugs out of their PPV system before the two fights they actual care about before year end.

That said, 6 PPVs between now and Christmas is a disgrace. In fact, Boxnation is now a disgrace. Abandon ship is my advice to those still paying. Sad to see, I supported it from day 1, but for me it was mainly a vehicle to see the big international shows, they haven't had any in months!
