Gorman v this Cruiser here. Joke fight this.

What a fight that Clarke and Barrett was. When I heard the 116-111 I thought Barrett had it.

Excellent matchmaking at this stage for Dubois- Jones was
Brace and fairly uselfull and made Daniel have to think about his attacks abit.

Was Jones ever going to KO Dubious?
He’s a friggin journeyman pro - his KO record is irrelevant.

If you can’t see that was a decent learning fight then I would have to question your knowledge of the sport

What's Dubois learning against featherfisted bums and LHW's? Which is what he has been matched with so far.

Don't even get me started on Yarde lol

He's learning to deal with boxers that come with a tight guard and come to grab hold and frustrate.

Agree he needs to step up now.. But 7 fights in, with little amateur experience, it's decent matchmaking

    Oh dear what?

100% fact. The matchups were crap there is no defence for it. Fwank keeps stating he does everything for the fans but it’s bull cos he does everything for his pocket just like the rest of his competition. At least his competition don’t go giving statements out like that though!

Well done Ronnie Clark. We knew he would be a step up for Barrett, beautiful uppercut in the 6th. Barrett showed some guts and will to stay in there.

But for a kid of 20 fights, big at the weight and hype around I thought he was poor.

Rematch will probably happen and Barrett will probably come through but he’s nowhere near a world class prospect. A fight with Woodstock or Bowen down the line would be great.

Good little fighter but these ‘prospects’ hyped to be special look nowhere near that against domestic opponents or journeymen. Thought Clark boxed and fight well.

I’d like to see him fight Bowen/Hughes winner but probably rematch Barrett. I honestly didn’t think Barrett looked like he believed he would win through portions of that fight, he looked unsure of himself but fair play to the shark.

    Great performance

The Barrett- Clarke fight alone was an
    absolute cracker.

Dubois opponent was good matchmaking at this stage, and Yardes opponent gave him some good rounds and occasionally asked a few questions of his defence. The only let down was Gormans opponent was a joker.

Other then that - the card was ok and not the disaster you predicted.

To steal a few Naz quotes and combine them with my thoughts..

"you are either good at boxing or you're not" and in my opinion Barrett isn't that good

Barrett didn't have the power to "bruk him up"

I know this harsh but I think Barrett should just finish.

DL jones was not a good match. He had just been stopped last time out by the fella Dubois had just put away in a round or two. That’s not progression.

I’m intrigued to see who Dubois and Yarde fight next. It’s Franks flagship show so I’m hoping he gets some good matches for them.

As for Barrett a loss believe it or not is not the end of the world! I hate the fact that in modern day boxing people think the L is your career over. Hopefully he goes back gets his head down and learns from his mistakes and corrects them.
