Despite the infinite money they spent on adverts, it's terrible. I'd be surprised if they venture into any more sports until their viewing figures improve.
They've a Monday night boxing show. Basically shows highlights of BoxNation cards and some other stuff.
i thought that was only ufc stuff. cant see them showing any boxing anytime soon as i dont think they have the cash to spend on securing any bouts
I mean their coverage on other sports is terrible. Never watched anything boxing related on BT but the commentary for the football is ****ing awful. The pundits they have in the studio are awful and tbh, BT sport is just destine to fail. I really hope they don't start showing boxing. The pundits they would have would be the likes of Audley Harrison and Junior Witter and they would big them up trying to make out they are legends.
:goodI've enjoyed the BOXING TONIGHT show that they have So far they have shown highlights of Mayweather - Canelo, the Copperbox card, Vitali fight, had a sitdown show with Calzaghe going over his big fights etc. Its a good start from them in my opinion
Strange how people see things differently. I think their coverage has pretty much been spot on so far in the sports I have watched.
there coverage seems ok to me as well. just hope they start picking up some quality fights a deal with boxnation or something would be top class
Their BT Sport Films strand is outstanding. The Cornered film on Johnny Greaves is excellent, as is Winning Ugly. Class, engrossing films with good production values. Boxing Tonight is decent - Dempsey very good.
I would go as far to say it's very good. Love their Sunday night football from 6.45pm - James Richardson and co - brings back memories of Football Italia, their WTA tennis was decent as well, and I like their backstage Conference stuff as well - I just think people are put off by the Liverpool connection on their 12.45 Saturday premiership match (i'm a Newcastle fan so may be pissed off myself with them come 2.30 tomorrow ). I've not really a Rugby Union fan so can't really comment on that, but would imagine their Aviva prem would be pretty good presentation as well.
i agree with paullow i think the coverage of sports so far has been very good i like the all the football coverage and think the conference coverage is excellent and gets up close before and during game, wuld love them to get involved in boxing as paul dempsey is a good front man for it and im sur they would get in top boxers to offer expertise, good start to bt sport from me :good
Aye, hopefully Gateshead get on BT at some point this season. You a Newcastle or Sunderland fan mate (or neither?)
