Just for your info :smoke I know this has been raised in the past and people have gone by boxrec's status by Waldo himself was on UK TV recently and was asked about his height and said 6'5"....so there ya go
I call BS. If Wlad is 6'5" then Haye is 5'11". As a matter of fact, If Wlad is 6'5", then he's never fought anyone over 6'1".
He actually said he's 6'5 in the evening and 6'6 in the morning. He obvioulsy plays it down a bit to. At least 6'6 clearly.
Wlad probably measures himself without shoes on in the morning or something similar which would give you his real height many people get measured with their shoes on which is a bit deceptive.
We are about half an inch taller in morning compared to evening as the intervertebray discs compress when we are up and about along with cartilage in the knees.
He just downplays his height, because he gets criticized for being more big than good. The truth is, that dude is enormous.
I don't see what the big deal is 6'5, 6'6, whatever. However, as long as we are discussing it, why not look at opponents Wladimir has fought and their listed heights. Wladimir and Tony Thompson (listed at 6'5) This content is protected Wladimir and DaVarryl Williamson (listed at 6'4) This content is protected
These pictures don't mean anything. To judge we need head to toe as to see footware, posture etc. Like others have said 6'6, 6'5, whatever, he's still a big dude.
