Stiverne is a complete joke.

 

I've been watching a lot of Povetkin lately.

He's actually a very good boxer, does a LOT of things well. Slips punches well, uses a little half step back to make the other guy whiff air, has great hooks and an uppercut from hell. I like how he turns the opponent, too. He also has a cast iron chin.

No wonder Wilder flew back as fast as he could.

 

Yeah, but Wilder needs an easy touch after Washington nearly jabbed him out the ring. You know, for his shot nerves to recover.

Is Ortiz-Stiverne definitely a thing? See someone mention it but didn't think much had come from it. I've 0 interest in Wilder-Stiverne II what so ever. If it's his mandatory I won't give Wilder **** for it because he doesn't make the rankings but that doesn't make the fight any better

 

But but but he is always talking about these fights and other than the Povetkin fight (who was a mando anyway) none of them have been made. He is just talking at this point, as he always does, I will believe it when I see it IF we see it.

Called out Josh and Fury then made no effort to make the fight !!!
Chisora called him out a few years ago even publishing , an open letter/challenge ... no effort to make the fight !!!

All this guy does is talk and feed of bums, hasbeens and never hasbeens .... No technique, no footwork and overrated power I just don't see what the fuss is with this guy other than being American HW with above average power he has nothing that says to me this guy can clean out his division.

 

Ortiz vs Stirverne didnt go through because Stirverne blatantly ducked Ortiz and thats well documented, its not my opinion, it happened.

My theory is many knew Stirverne wasnt skilled enough to beat Ortiz, those many include Bermane Stirverne and Wilders bomb squad.

After seeing Molina get outboxed by Joshua, the bomb squad didnt want another former opponent of Wilder (Stirverne) looking bad which wouldve raised doubts over the quality of his opponents. However the main reason for hijacking that fight was Wilder didnt want to run this risk of having to fight Ortiz should he get through Stirverne because it was a huge risk title fight for a low payday compared to other options.

So I guess the bomb squad got to Stirverne early and offered him another title shot behind the scenes but only if he ducks the WBC ordered elimanator between him and Ortiz and thats why you heard Stirverne say 'I got bigger fish to fry' when Stirverne was asked about his refusal to fight Ortiz. A few weeks later Deontay announced Stirverne vs Wilder part 2. Thats my theory on that. Something like that I think actually happened.

I dont know if cunning is the right word but Wilder and the bomb squad are defintely strategic. Boxing is a business after all.

 

Povetkin is WAY more skilled than certain people on here give him credit for. It's amusing watching them cry "OSTARINE!" and "MELDONIUM!!" while trying to erase his Gold Medal and many impressive wins as a pro.

He'd starch Wilder and even Deontey knows that deep down. You can tell by his actions and the way he stutters when Povetkin is brought up

 

I don't know why you are posting these videos, Wilder talks a lot but does very little.

He had 5 attempts to fight a top guy without politics, and 5 times he failed to fight someone considered a top 10 in the division.

What's actually going to happen is Wilder will continue to call out Joshua and Parker but will continue to face the Stivern's and Helenius of this world.

Someone needs to tell Wilder action, not words.

 

If the fight gets made and he faces Parker this summer, it will resolve most of my problems with him. I'll give him full credit and will be rooting for him to win. If he and AJ both win and face off in a full unification, Id probably even root for Wilder when they face off.
