Yeah hes done great things like walking into K-1 and dominating in 2004 geting robbed out of a gp victory the following year against souwer then winning in 2006 Max gp. I think he is the greatest K-1 max fighter. He went over to china and fought under sanda rules and tooled his opponent. First time in Shootboxing in 2010 won easily against his opponents to win the S cup that year. and of course was ranked highly at lumpinee stadium as high as #1 behind of course his teamate Namsaknoi at lightweight or else he might have picked up the belt. He was the omnoi champ and thailand champ.

He's a very accomplished fighter for sure. Not many fighters have that adaptability. Even when they changed the clinch rules in K-1 max Buakaw still was among the best. Only recently has he avoided challenges, avoided other Thai's.

But Ill always be a fan of his.

 

Only in terms of accomplishment I mean, of course.

For technique, and I was telling Boran about this, his adaptability is unreal. The way he dominated the clinch game against the Sanda fighter said it all.

 

Yeah he made his opposition look like a chump under his own rules. Dont know how good that guy was. but many other thais lost under the BS "soft throws" weighted scoring. Some of the Sanda fighters are quite good though.
