    Good test for Buatsi.

Bolotniks is on a great run.

How do we see it playing out?

Similar to the Ryan Ford fight.

He gets tagged and gets hurt at times, but comes through it and gets the stoppage.

It is hardly a step up is it?

Buatsi is being brought on at a snails pace. I don’t suppose he cares so long as the pay is good but you have to question his ceiling

Bolotniks has shown very good form since the Mchunu defeat years ago and this is a real trial by fire fight for Buatsi. If Buatsi can defeat Ricards then he is ready for the world stage. :chuck:

Actually a bit earlier he too had good fights.
    Nope.
Bolotņiks fight record might look to think that he is someone like Ryan Ford.
Looks that he did not had am boxing fights and was a bit like traveling boxer on foreign soil.

Bolotniks vs Nielsen was good fight and sorry, Nielsen for sure is too tough bloke for any LHW boxer to finish him in distance.
While not well known, Nielsen then had only 1 lost fight on cards vs Lerena in South Africa. Lerena, who is huge for CW bloke was not able to normally hurt Nielsen, not alone drop him. Lerena really is larger than Mchunu, Makabu or Briedis, he even now attempts to try at bridger weight cos he told that is walking around at approx 220 lbs.
Bolotņiks being small for CW had gave Nielsen very tough 8 rounds, a lot of ppl had scored this as a draw or 5/3 for Bolotņiks.
Bolotniks btw had performed vs him better exactly in second half of this fight. SD loss on cards vs boxer managed by germans in their show is not proof that he looked bad in this fight. Nielsen did not had looked vs Bolotniks better than he looked vs huge for CW Lerena.
Next detail in fight record : draw vs canadian boxer in Canada.

For sure Bolotniks isn't some kind of former amateur boxing star or superstar, yeah, there looks that he is still learning and improving.

Looks that he already had confirmed to be euro level unlike Ford.

    Is Steve Gray refereeing?

If he is then all bets are off... unless you've bet on Buatsi and you should be fine o_O

I would like to see buatsi tested vs bolotniks. This will definitely show if he's prepared or not for the world top level scene.

Hard test, though, he may not pass it. And if he does not pass it, then you burnt a fighter who could have made you a bit more decent money before the final test.

Tbh, I would like to see hime tested but I dont think they will try that test now. At least the path they are following does not make me think that they would take a test like bolotniks now. Bolotniks record may look like trash, but I guess no one in this forum thinks that about bolotniks after his last fights. And I dont think that buatsi's trainer/promoter is more idiot than we are, so they know it too that bolotniks is a fighter dangerous as ****.

lol . So glad I was wrong.

edit: now the problem is that I'm fan of both. Well, I will be a postive guy, at least one of my guys will win.

I had heard that Bivol was fighting Bolotniks in September? Did that fall through?

    Must have.

its surprising that Bivol would accept that fight.

    Seems a bit beneath him.

Looks that probably WBA might gave winner of Buatsi vs Bolotniks to fight vs Bivol. Maybe.
Eddie ofc will be happy if this will be Buatsi.

I suspect that eddie does have rematch clause for case if Buatsi will get KOed.

If Buatsi comes through this, I wouldn't mind seeing him vs Bivol.

Bolotniks then if he wins Bivol? That's a rough year for Buatsi.

Good for him for taking it on if true.
