Does anyone know if Sky are showing Richard Towers fight?

 

I think the Kirkland fight starts about 2am, the Morales fight on after that so around 3AM i would say.

 

It will be interesting to see how Mendy gets on over the next few months. He's working with Kevin Campion who is getting quite a cult following online. This will show us how good a trainer he is.

Sadly, I think Mendy's going to slip back into journeyman mode or worse (i.e. no fights at all). He had momentum, but that's all pretty much gone now. Can't sell tickets, unappealing record, lack of power etc. - I doubt many are going to go out of their way to try and get him fights.

I hope I'm wrong because Mendy has talent and is still young, but boxing is a business...

Yeah at only 21 he is a solid operator, I just hope that defeat doesn't ruin him.

He seemed to go into sparring partner mode after a few rounds tonight.
