Good shot. Didn't help that Joe was moving into meet it with his chin. But watch rounds 11 and 12. I think it was in 11 that Joe had Rocky hurt and then proceeded to shoot his wad trying for the finish. His legs completely fall apart after that. So, the target Old Joe was giving Rocky in the 13th was fairly stationary, or at the very predictable. Rocky finished the job, such as that job was.

Canelo isn't really a good example to use here. He's in the same boat with guys like Mike Tyson and Gervonta Davis where people think he fights at close range simply because he is short, when what he really does is setting up counters at long / mid range.

Marciano would actually walk guys down and batter them in the pocket.

Would you pick a Crawford to beat a Walcott?

The best version of Joe? No, I don't think I would.

I agree I think it would be his movement that would trouble Crawford.
I just think if a fighters best weight was say 140lbs its too much to ask a boxer to fight a Premier boxer 45lbs north.
Now I think Crawford has the much better boxing technique and skills but at LOWER weights.
