Bud Crawford Wants Tank Davis @ 147.

Tank can make 147 but he will be just a blown up 135er getting slaughtered. Davis won't even face a solid lightweight let alone fight at welterweight. How long has that Lomachenko fight been looming for Tank?
How about Haney? Tank wouldn't even face Teofimo Lopez. I don't believe in him, he's a hype job with a mush mouth.

Tank could beat him, similar to the early success of Gamboa. Just keep moving, be flashy, and don't over commit. He's not tailor-made for Bud. He'd become number one.

Go for greatness, beat Bud at welterweight. Or at least survive moving and lose a decision once he realized it was an impossible task indeed, similar to Mikey's loss to Spence. But what if he won via controversial decision? He'd have Crawford's name. It would be Bud's obligation to KO him, or at least look very good winning, not Tank's. Likewise, Bud should fight Charlo next for his own greatness.

 

i was saying bud was weight drained vs gamboa. Bud stops tank period. Tank has a better chance beating monster or shakur. It would be nothing like mikey spence. Itd be a savage brutal beating ending with tank going nighty night. If canelo beats charlo were prob gonna get that.

 

I am the first to slaughter Crawford's resume but he is in a strange position right now where it's tough to make 147, the man at 154 is going up to take a savage beating off Canelo, the guy who hes obligated rematch is out for a year at least and there's no big name or second tier fighters at 140/147/154 the only 2 close by are Teo Lopez and Golovkin.

 

No way Tank would go up for Crawford, he wouldn't even go up for Garcia and has avoided any of the top guys at lightweight, so it's a pure fantasy fight that will never happen.

 

Tank wouldn't even go near Thurman after claiming he would wax him but now wants to go after the guy he claimed was made out of Glass...................right

Tank still hasn't fought one solid opponent in his own weightless so why even entertain such BS, it's this kind of stuff that highlights his name in the world, their real addiction called clout.

 

More chance of Inoue fighting Tank than this. Tank doesn't take tough fights, period.

 

This will be like Marquez-Mayweather. Marquez had the skills, but wasn't comfortable yet at 147 to make it competitive.

 

Marquez would never beat the better fighters at 147. He just matched up with Manny really well. They moved up together.
