I wouldn't pick David Benavidez at 168 to beat a prime GGG and you think Crawford does it? This is why everyone overrating Spence so much was bad; we really think Crawford did something all-time instead of just beating a good welterweight whose flaws played right into Crawford's strengths.

I'm not even a fan of Golovkin and I'm a big fan of Crawford but Golovkin would end him, Golovkin beat fighters like Daniel Jacobs who is built like a Light Heavyweight. Crawford wouldn't be able to impose himself on Golovkin.

Agree. It's like asking GGG to go up to cruiser and campaign there

Bud is a better all around fighter but GGG was too big and was very dangerous in his prime. It’s impossible to speculate on Buds power moving up two divisions but we already know prime GGG had legit world class power at 160. We haven’t even seen Bud fight a 154 pounder and he’s 36 years old. Probably done growing.

Maybe Bud will demonstrate legit MW power but he hasn’t even fought at 154 yet so it’s probably time to slow your roll. Remember when people were speculating about Canelo taking on cruisers after he beat drunken Kov? Also remember the same clowns crying that Canelo was too small for 175 after he got that Bivol beating?

Just as silly as those asking the question whether Canelo could beat Usyk.

    A resounding no
