What the **** So this is the no contest then - the fight never even started. Danny turns up in the ring, announces he was cut after falling over in the shower, and that's it :hi: Rematch happening in September says Danny. Budapest hotel shower KO1 :rofl [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUaOe6nkcEc"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUaOe6nkcEc[/ame] Also there are some pre-fight videos on Youtube as well. Danny arriving at Budapest airport - could his method of transport be any more G? Because how may runners get beaten to death on the track. Boxing is not like any other sport and if your not capable of not getting knocked out regularly then someone needs to stop you
How can this be recorded as fight when it never happened >>> http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=6522&cat=boxer NC1? Surely it's NC0? It never ****ing happened from what I've heard atsch
I can only imagine how good Danny's balance was going to be in the fight if he can't even stand up properly in the shower.
Strange. I suppose Boxrec just report what they're told by the commission. But yeah this shouldn't be an NC, that implies the fight actually started.
Do the people who turned up to watch the fight get credited with an NC1 in Boxrec against the person they were sitting next to?
for once I kind of agree with you. Just because someone was exellent on their best day, doesn't mean they can continue their career as a journeyman if they so wish.
Listen Carl Lewis used to race cheetahs, there was one time when a cheetah and Carl Lewis got into a scuffle before the race. And Carl Lewis was bleeding from below, Lewis bled many times before competitions. Listen we all know the deal with boxing, formula 1 drivers can die from one crash. In boxing you can get hurt, if Danny Williams passes his medical tests. By law he should be aloud to earn a living doing his job.
Agree totally ...Danny aint stupid he knows the dangers of the game all too well and he loves to box so let him ... Its a bit like me sleeping with 21 year old women .. at one time they were mighty fine but as the years role by there looking decidely dodgy and if truth be known a bit older than 21 but in my head i believe theres one last good un around the corner ...
:good or maybe it would be better to wait and they can have a big wembley show 1000's of people there millions watching worldwide both world champions in a unification match.. sounds good to me
While it is his choice to fight, and we can't stop him, it is also our choice to be disappointed when he does. Jordan and Christie training has absolutely zero impact on anyone else, Danny fighting has a potentially detrimental impact on his family and friends in the future when the damage he suffered starts to show in deteriorating health. Not to mention the fact that training and competing are different things, the amount of public scrutiny an athlete is exposed to is completely different between the two. I guarantee people would be suggesting Jordan/Christie retire if they tried to compete as far past their prime as Danny is.
