I don't have any arguments for it. Please list your reasons how this statement can be true.

Frazier would always be in danger vs a big puncher with much longer arms because they can land first and he would have to get through a lot of bombs to land his because of his reach Foreman would be a different matter for that exact reason, he`s a big guy with a good reach but it is said that he had problems with taller fighters but his jab would bother Baer plus he had a great chin he survived a puncher like Lyle so I`m sure he would do better vs Baer than Frazier.

The question is not whether Frazier and Foreman could beat a guy like Buddy Baer.

    They probably could.

The point is that they didn't!

Yeah, they had to opt for Ali, Frazier, Norton and Lyle.

You mean guys who would not even be real heavyweights today?

Stop getting hung up on this vague concept of resume.

See the record of some of the palookas he lost too, i don't think Buddy was going to be destroying or demolishing Foreman or Frazier.

I feel Lyles punches would be powerful enough to KO heavies today, he had some punch, Foreman really proved something in that fight.

Both Baers would have a chance of destroying Frazier. Foreman would be a different story. I'd pick George over Buddy, don't know about Max.

Frazier retires Buddy Baer. Pounds him into an infantile, thumb-sucking ball of tears.
