Buddy McGirt...Don't hire that guy!!!

    Boy, it just seems to me that over the last 3 years or so every big fight that Buddy was the trainer in he lost...If i knew McGirt was working Paulie's corner last night I would have bet the house on Hatton...:patsch

    in a way i dont like when people say this because lets be REAL here... ok?


    Some of the ones that come to mind

    Gatti - Mayweather - is this REALLY his fault? honestly.... Gatti went in there and went into a shell, hardly threw punches because he was afraid of mayweathers quick counters and speed. Buddy cant fight for gatti or force gatti to imploy their strategy

    Brewster vs Wlad - In their first fight... Brewster really had to go through hellish and unnatural amount of punishment before wlad became vulnerable enough to collapse... in the rematch, wlad came in with a gameplan, and brewster was not willing to go to that hell to win again.. not buddys fault.

    Tonight... again... it will always be malignaggi in there against hatton.



    I really think trainers get overatted and underatted way too much based on outcomes of fights.

    If you put whoever your fav trainer is in place of those fights... i garuntee you the same results happen.

    Im not saying hes the best trainer out there... but i just think he gets **** on a bit too much.

    He is good only with fighters who have a jab and good footwork,generally good skills but it ain't his fault his fighters don't fight good.That being said the gameplan for Gatti vs Mayweather was ****.

    to be a good trainer u have to win big fights...no excuse for EVERY guy to lose..how bout tarver...mcgirt knows boxing no doubt...but if ur guys always lose u can not be doing the right things...its like coaching in any other sport

    yeah he is only good with fighters other trainers made..THEN he comes in and akes a shitload of cash FOR WHAT?..he has never built a champ fro scratch

    Honestly I though Adamek was gonna lose that one but he came back,don't think McGirt helped him there.I think that was the broken nose fight right:think

    So just tell me who you think would have changed the outcome of the fights?

    Yes... you can lose all the big fights and still be a good trainer because you simply have the inferior fighter lol.

    that is not the point..name me another alleged world class trainer with losses in virtually every big fight..jesus even jaidon lost the finals of the contender:lol: :lol:

    well than he is good..he takes guys already made and sits and begs them to throw punches ...something is wrong...his list isLONG...chambers...these are all guys that have been made by other trainers....he gets paid ALOT of money while these trainers who built these fighters get ****..WHY IS THAT??? all his fighters lay an egg...coincidence? than he stops the ****ing fight last night....**** that guy...I have been training guys for 12 years...u have to know not to stop that fight...it is parlty PM's fault for getting the guy...but let him finish the fight
