Stunning... I didn't even know McGirt was trainging Forrest... since when? I was shocked to read that Mora upset Forrest but now I know why...
Seriously his record in televised fights the past 2 years is like 2-15. His advice sucks. "Alright baby, pump that jab baby, talk to me baby come on champ let's go baby give me that jab baby" atsch
Somewhere in America Shane Mosley is contemplating submitting an application to have his name officially changed from Shane Mosley to Shame Mosley.
Exactly! He was one of these top class opponents PBF avoided his whole career and who would expose him. :tired Probably Mora takes his spot now.
Yup, he would have lost anyway BUT McGirt certainly helped him lose this fight. Buddy was ridiculously bad in that fight.
Buddy McGirt has forgot more about boxing than most of you will ever know. Its not his fault that Forrestt decided not to get in great condition and he faded down the stretch in the fight. Vernon is almost 40!!! Lay off Buddy because most of you have no clue at all what the boxing business is all about.
I don't think it was McGirts fault... It was Forrest's fault. He knows how to fight, but something happened that he just wasn't there both Mentally and physically. He got discouraged as the fight wore on and he shut down and let a less talented guy out work him. No excuse, Forrest has been in this game for a long time and has much more experience than Mora... He knows how to fight, but he didn't apply what he knows last night. With all his advantages, he should have wiped Mora out like all the other ESPN contenders have gotten wiped out when they've faced higher competition.
I have thought this man has been trash since Tarver/Hopkins. Not that Tarver had a chance to win but the advice he was giving Tarver was shocking. This is the most overrated trainer in boxing.
