Well what Id like to know is why is every fighter that Mcgirt trains is in danger with pullin the plug on their fights because they are getting owned dangerously bad?

Buddy I use to think you were a good trainer until I realized you lose about 90 % of your fights. And on a rountine basis gotta pull the plug on your failed fights

He's a good trainer, but he is usually training bums/the huge underdog in a fight

He did a good job with Macklin imo

He just cares about his fighters

The way he was hugging Gatti in the corner after he pulled the plug

But in all seriousness, I think it was a good stoppage.

I do not have a problem with fights like Gatti-Mayweather - Gatti was going to lose the fight no matter what, and blaming McGirt for that makes no sense.

But there were plenty of other fights... out of my head I can add Dawson-Adamek (you may guess whose trainer was Buddy).

Sorry dude, but Macklin was on ***** street. He was ready to get really destroyed. Buddy did the right thing here. Macklin looked confused and beaten. He would have only gotten hurt.
My beef with Buddy would only be with the Gatti-Mayweather fight. Gatti was a guts and glory fighter, who if you watch that fight, was doing well the first two rounds. He was making Mayweather miss a lot and dictating the fight. Someone posted that things changed when Mayweather hit him on the break. In any case, Gatti should have adjusted his style to his old style and tried to brawl. Trying to outbox Mayweather was a mistake.

Im just saying that it's becoming a trend if it isn't one already.... So what we got so far is...

    Gatti vs. Mayweather

    Malignaggi vs. Hatton

    Brewster vs. Klitschko 2

    Macklin vs. Martinez

I know there are more Buddy plug pulling fights....
