Buddy McGirt to train Cotto?

I think we will see Cotto use the jab more baby.

 

Always thought that Ronnie Shields would have bene the best choice for Cotto.

As if Miguel hasn't had enough people f*ck him over (Cheato), the last thing he needs is a Buddy McGirt. Is there really no one else that can do the job? Nacho Beristein perhaps? Or I know it's a long shot, but even Brother Nazim??

I really do think Dan Birmingham would be good for Cotto.

 

I love brother Nazim but Cotto is looking for someone that's based in Florida and Nazim has SSM and I don't think it will work. But I feel you, I wished it was Richardson the trainer. Regarding Buddy McGirt, I rather see Cotto with him than with his current corner. On the other hand If I was Cotto I just make peace with my uncle and have him take over again or at least make peace.

Well anything is better than what he had.

 

Buddy McGirt always seems to ruin boxers, but he is far better than what Cotto has now. At the very least he would throw in the towel instead of allowing Cotto to take needless punishment...
