Dejesus wa better at LW but then again i thought Buddy Improved when he moved up to welter.. Buddy punched harder at JW but wasnt as slick as he was at 147 where he used his superior boxing skills to beat some good fighters just couldnt get past Pernell... He had some wars at 140 and got beat up bad my Meldrick... Looked good at 147 where he outslicked and won a wide decision over the highly regarded Simon Brown. At JW i think im leaning towards Dejesus by decision or possible late stoppage.
I think this is a very interesting match-up, man. However, like Bodhi's Patterson/Tunney H2H thread, I didn't comment because I really can't make up my mind about it.
Would be a great fight to watch. Neither man had the best stamina so it should be an entertaining chess match without threat of either guy overwhelming the other because of work rate. I'm undecided on who'd take it, but I might lean towards DeJesus.
