    I think Starling outclasses the overrated McGirt.

    Thinking about it, I have to agree. This would be a fun tehhnical match up. We need more love for the Magic Man.

    Buddy is not overated at all, but Starling is in another class. Marlon would win

    I love Buddy but I agree with this. Marlon is also slightly bigger

    The size differential is something Starling would probably exploit and walk down McGirt.

    Then again, if Starling gets into one of those moods where he sleepwalks through fights (Bumphus, Villela) a guy like McGirt could certainly outbox him.

    Starling would have absolutely no problem against McGirt. Too good of a defense, counterpuncher, and in-fighter for Buddy.

    Buddy is overrated.

    He's not a HOF fighter, and got in purely on the basis of being a popular figure/trainer in the sport. He even got in over the man who totally dominated him (Taylor).

    There's far more deserving guys who still aren't in.
