If it's in Manchester with Do nothing Dave Parriss refereeing, Hatton wins by kitchen sink. Anywhere else with any other ref and Buddy boxes Hatton.
Hatton not quick enough and too predictable, for me. McGirt was very good at setting traps with his feet and wouldn't allow himself to get pushed to the ropes often enough for Hatton to be effective. Just thinking about how far away Hatton was from his opponents when he started his punches, jumping in with shots and not using any jabs or head movement on his way in...All well and good against certain guys, but against someone with a quick and consistent right hand lead like McGirt's, he's going to be eating them all night. Buddy will see that coming a mile off. McGirt by relatively clear decision. Maybe some similarities to McGirt's fight against Jacobs.
buddy smokes him. no one in the history of the sport gets put to sleep as spectacularly as Hatton, and this time would be no different. it would be like a rag doll getting dropped off the Empire State Building and landing on it's back, red shoe bottoms up, arm splayed out, staring up at the lights, mouth wide open with his mouthpiece somewhere in the third row.
