buddy mcgirt-what is he doing wrong

    touted as a top trainer, but his record in fights over the last years has been nothing less than appalling.

    its got to the stage that unless one oif his fighters is fighting a patsy, you should bet on the man in the oposite corner.

    bad luck
    good advice
    bad advice

    why have his fortunes as a trainer taken such a nose dive?

    i can only think of vernon forrest outboxing carlos baldomir at 154 as his only success in years .

    Because the guys he was training simply weren't that good. He did very well as a trainer especially with Gatti but the hype machine rolled on and everyone wanted Buddy on board to work a miracle.Problem was it just didn't happen.
