    Hatton looked like he had never even been in a ring tonight. He made De La Hoya's outing against Pac seem competitive.

    Sr. talked a great game, but 3 KD's in two rounds against a guy you're naturally larger than -- particularly when you come in at 45-1 -- is not going to help Floyd's dad get his next gig.

    On the other hand, Sr. can't fight for Hatton. Ricky did what he did against Jr., he just paid for it sooner tonight.

    Ricky couldn't have fought much worse had he tried. Someone, or both men, is going to get a lot of blame. The British press is already blaming Hatton for his lifestyle excesses.

    Whatever the case, Hatton was atrocious. I think much of the credit goes to Pac rather than blame to any person or people. Roach and Pac knew exactly what to do and Hatton and his corner were clueless or unable to execute anything.

    Good grief!

    Hatton was his own worse enemy. This loss had absolutely nothing to do with Mayweather Snr. Ricky just fought like the Ricky of old and leapt in with his chiin, a real step back from his humiliation of the 'magic man'.

    I still think the trainers are not that significant. Roach is going to look great if he has Manny Pac. fighting. I remember the night Virgil Hill fought Thomas Hearns in 1991. Roach was all frustrated telling Virgil. You gotta knock this sucker out Virgil and nothing worked. Helps when his fighter is the quicker fighter.

    The significance of trainers is overrated, but so is Mayweather Senior. I've never quite been able to figure out why people consider him to be any good anyway.

    Hatton getting Floyd Sr, was to the extreme, and it probably hurt more than help him!!!

    Have some water, baby! Floyd, Sr. has a long way to fall before he inflicts the McGirt Hurt on his stable. It's not like Hatton was going to be a long-term customer of his anyway.

    Mayweather Sr is still one of the best trainers around. During training Hatton was looking very sharp He also showed it against Paul Malignaggi, You cannot blame Floyd Sr for Ricky's loss Mayweather Sr had a gameplan and Hatton to it into his own hands to throw it out the window and got ktfo for it. Hatton has no one to blame but himself.

    Because he is Floyd's father and Floyd Sr. knows how to use words to make people think he is good. Roach uses results. It is clear that Roach is the better trainer. Floyd Sr. is ok, but not really top notch. If he were not Floyd's dad he would not been seen as a good trainer at all.

    Mayweather Sr. does some great work with the pads though...some of the best I've ever seen, not far behind his brother, rilly.

    Don't try to pin this on Mayweather SR... Hatton didn't even listen to what he was saying, and Hatton looked like his same old self... walking straight in to punches.
