Why do people still employ this fool? He stopped Malignaggi (even tho Malignaggi wasnt hurt - And I am a Hatton fan) and I don;t buy this "well he was way behind on points crap", If he wasnt hurt there was no reason to stop him Then he went into the Rahman fight clearly knowng nothing about Hasim Rahman and offered him NO advice and was being outspoken by th 2nd trainer because he offered nothing If another nations fighter say Paul Ingle did this he would get slated for it but because it is an American trainer it get brushed under the mat This guy is a phoney and the most OVERATED trainer in the world
He gives good advice in the corner, it's either fighters don't listen or they didn't really apply any of that in training.
Thats rubbish - Buddy offered nothing to Rahman at all, the other trainer had to comemin and step up because Buddy was clueless
And Paulie as never going to b KO'd, br the opening rounds where he stumbled he never got close to being ko'd - he was outclassed but was never going to be KO'd
He would have been, it was one sided, paulie wasn't throwing anything and his head was attracting punches
There was 2 rounds left, Malignaggi was never getting KO'd, he wasnt even knocked down. He wasn't even really taking big shots He just got schooled by a far better opponent, but he was never getting KO'd and the fight should have gone the full 12
Whether he would be KOed or not . . . The whole corner, Lou DiBella included stopped the fight. Lou said himself if Buddy hadnt done it he would have. Buddy cops too much for this.
