Following you on twitter man. Here's my 2 cents though on making you unique.

    1. Conditioning - Today's Heavyweights are big, fat, and bulky. Being big isn't a feat nor is it unique. If you're big and strong and condition like a machine than you will already stand out.

    2. Leverage - Watching you throw punches I get the feeling that sometimes you just arm-punch. It should feel like your punching from the base of your foot all the up through the arm/shoulder. Try using your legs/hips more as a starter, and practicing punching through the mitts/bag.

    3. Balance/Footwork - This is a pivotal thing that will come in time.

    4. Defense & Head Movement - A champion will make you miss and then make you pay.

    Good luck.

And if an American heavyweight were to beat Wlad, he would get instant 10Million dollar paydays. Easier said than done though.

yOU HAVE ONE HELLUVA A TRAINER THE ONLY ADVISE I CN OFFER IS LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF ROAD WORK. THATS THE WAY THE OLD TIMERS DID IT AND THAT WILL BE THE DECIDING FACTOR WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THOSE WARS AF ATTRITION. ALSO TRY TO REMEMBER WHEN YOU WORKING THE BAG OR THE TARGET MITS TO KEEP THAT CHIN DOWN TIL IT BECOMES SECOND NATURE. REMEMBER FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR ROAD WORK. I PRAY YOU HAVE A SUCCESSFUL CAREER.

Thanks very much guys. I appreciate that. I'm trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can from my team, and I'm blessed to have a great one. Everyday I come in to the gym its like the first day..even though its been 3 months now. Floyd Jr, Floyd Sr, Jeff, Roger, Cornelius Boza Edwards, and most importantly Nate "the Snake" Jones try to mold me to become the greatest I can possibly be everyday, no shortcuts. Also I have a great friend and advisor who doesn't let me slack a minute on my roadwork..to the point where I hate him for it sometimes. I always looked for that Cus D'amato type of situation..and now the pieces are finally falling into place 1 by 1. And after seeing what happened to my friend Eddie last night..I am taking my training to another level..thanks for the motivation and support from all my family here at Eastside Boxing!

Road work, road work, road work. I know it's unconventional but I would suggest swimming. Nothing makes a fighter feel more confident than knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has more than enough left in the tank to do exactly what his brain tells him to without his his body protesting. You never want to gas out.

Other than that, I'd focus on powerful precision punching. Not volume punching, not inexplicably wide punches hoping you land. Powerful precision punching. Good, clean, crisp, and accurate (of course remembering never to neglect the body).

But maybe even more important than those two is to remain mentally strong . . . especially in the face of adversity because those will be the times when you'll need to be focused the most.

    Good luck.

Thats cool you are doing the twitter thing and its cool you came to eastsideboxing. There isnt much boxing coverage in the general media so its great to get involved with it online because that is where all the hardcore fans are at to get their boxing news.

You could also do a public facebook if you want, there are quite a few big names that are doing that. Also get in touch with Rumsfeld, he hosts a boxing radio show every week as well and I am sure they would be happy to have you on.
