i'm mutual on both fighters, i like andre ward and sakio bika. but those score cards were bull****! does anyone who thought calzaghe won against Bhop say that ward beat bika? bika owned the first 3 rounds. for those judges to score the fight 120, 118, and 118 is bul****! they should all get hit by a bus!

Did you see Ward looking over at the ref for assistance like he was his employee? Yes, Ward fights only in Oakland for a reason. The ref and judges probably drove him home at the end of the night. I had Bika winning rounds 1 - 3 as well.

Another thing i didn't get is that even the Showtime crew were saying that Bika was throwing and landing more in most of the rounds in the fist half of the fight......yet they would still score it for Ward. wth?

Ward clearly won rds 9 10 and 11. Most of the other rounds were quite close.

Ward did win the fight, but yes, those score cards were a joke.

Too many times in fights it is clear from the scoring that no matter what someone does, they were never going to get the decision.

Reminds me of the Froch/Kessler fight. Can't argue with Kessler getting the nod, but Tilleman's score of 117-111 was clearly biased and show's that Froch never had a chance of getting a decision off him.

Although Sauerland had probably already filled in Tileman's card for him before the fight had even started.;)

This is why they can't let Ward fight the most decisive fights of the super 6 at home

as soon as I saw where all the officials were from I already knew that Bika had no chance, Ward was also coaching the ref looking for special treatment while he was also doing most of the fouling himself.

I am disgusted with this super six ****, the only thing I think Showtime has planned is to hype up Ward, and build up a mega fight with Bute....
But does ward sign for that fight?:think if its not in Oakland likely he wont.

shame on showtime and the whole super six promotion there is no way a fighter should have every single fight in his back yard... and there was also a reason that the Bika fight was not part of the super six, that reason was in the event that Ward lost he would still be on top.... pathetic if you ask me...

Froch is IMO#1 considering the level of opposition he has faced, But I still feel he lost to Dirrell but Dirrell is a cry baby little ***** so **** him.

117-111 would have been realistic. Ward would rather be a protected hometown fighter. Watch him back out of fighting Froch or whomever the moment a "neutral site" is demanded. The guy and his management should have already been sued over the Dirrell debacle (along with Dirrell's people).

And, yeah, I know Bute fighting almost always in Canada, but he really has been talking about fighting in AC for some of upcoming fights. If he backs out on that, then Bute is trying to be protected too. But I see Bute leaving Montreal long before Ward leaves Oakland.

Out of curiosity do you know what Ward draws in Oakland. I don't imagine it's 17k plus like Montreal?

I had 8 rounds to 4, but I give both fighters a lot of credit. Ward didnt need to take this fight, and he showed that he is a champion that will take on tough challenges and test himself. He didnt look spectacular against Bika, but no one does. He did show that he will do what he needs to to get the win even if he has to fight out of charecter. I think his stock goes up. As for Bika, Hopefully he will get another opportunity.
