Bulletproof Solution To Handwrapping . . .

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BenjaminLinus, Oct 24, 2010.

  1. The great Benjamin Linus proposes that brand new and sealed packages of gauze/wrapping tape should be distributed by representatives of the fighting commission on fight night and only when wrapping is about to commence.

    Problem solved.

    doesn't Nevada already do that?

  5. I'm pretty sure that the trainers/fight camp bring their own and are allowed to use them under supervision. I'm guessing there are different brands that different fighters prefer (Ace vs. Johnson & Johnson, etc.).

Do they take the gloves and hand wraps of fighters after the fight for inspection? If not, then I think they should have a representative remove the gloves and hand wraps of each fighter immediately after the fight.

The inspector actually puts his signature with a permanent marker on the finished handwraps.

I can only assume that an inspector is present when the gloves come off and checks to see that the signature is intact.
