of course, and I've been very consistent in my evaluation of Wicky. If you want I'll bring up some threads I started long before the Mayweather fight. The Mayweather fight or the Witter ducking scenario of the last couple of months have not changed my assessment of Hatton one little bit.

To the posters picking on Foq, I think you are being a bit hard on him. After all, when sombrerogate was in full flow, Foq would always defend Hatton.
Hes a hater, but at least he backs his posts up with honesty & valid points & a good sense of humour, & thats what makes a forum great, people who can hate, but back it up & make us laugh too & not take themselves too seriously.

This new breed of Hatton hating though here recently has even shocked me & even in Kevin Anderson threads there are newbs in screaming that Ando is 'punchy' & stuff like that, its as if ESB has indeed been infected by the rage virus from 28 days later like Foq said!

I did warn the fine folks of ESB a few weeks ago about the influx of thick newbs spewing their bile, but no-one listened & I was turned into Dunky the 'newb hater'
However, as we can see now, the forum is descending into anarchy. I wouldnt mind if it was funny to read, but all too often its just plain boring toughguy ****.

Whats to be done? Or more to the point what can be done...

Only the predictions of losses to Tszyu, Collazo, Urango & Castillo didn't quite come off. If Hatton beats Witter, you'll back Malignaggi in the next fight and give your boring analysis as to why Hatton is technically flawed etc. Then when he beats him, the next one.

It's quite tiresome, but I just enjoy the way you guys haven't lost face from predicting Castillo's KO of Hatton and still come on here spouting crap. :deal

thanks for the defence Dunky. At the end of the day I have not called Hatton a **** or a scabby chav or any of that, as I keep saying my criticism is confined to the context of the sport and I feel it's all justified.
Not just the newbies, some of the old time forum members who back Hatton have lost the plot recently.

I actually think that there are more people complaining about the haters than there are haters. Recently there have been 3 threads started to complain about people not liking Hatton. Why not simply have 1 thread? Maybe the moderators should merge a few threads to cut down on the duplication. If the forums were moderated correctly then the hatred for any fighter or the praise for any fighter would be contained to single (or low number) threads and then the over exposure of that issue would not be exagerated.

I was a Hatton fan but I am now starting to realise that he is an opportunist and has made a career out of picking easy fights. Until he fights Witter I will have very little respect for him. His talking of himself in the 3rd person is also pathetic and annoys a lot of people. Constantly stating that he is a regular guy like you and I is insulting because he clearing is interested in earning large amounts of money rather than giving the fans the fights he wants.

No probs Foq. You should remind people that you even wanted Hatton to beat Floyd for a while, until Ricky got out of control in the build up. I should know, as I was as shocked at you as you were t me when I defended hatton recently!
Its what real boxing fans like us do though, keep an open mind.

Well, I asked an honest question & got an honest answer. Triple A hasnt unified the nation, thats for sure with some of his antics in the past, but I just see the scot, & want the scot to win. At all times. & to be honest, I think AAA has grown up a great deal from the brash youngster to brink of elite fighter he is today.
One win away from elite, thats how big this fight is.

Hopefully you will refrain from your original promise to pay our taxi fare across the M8 to watch one of our own get beat, & join the scottish boys here in our support of Arthur. He needs all of Scotland behind him for a fight of this magnitude.
As for me & the newbs, its just a bit of banter, honest! If I knew you were a jock with reasons to back up your hatred of Arthur I wouldnt have been cheeky. However, I encounter so much hostility when discussing our own on here, sometimes I jump to conclusions too early. So apologies for my hastiness in judging you before I got to know you.

However, you have probably seen some newbs ruining the forum with their bile this past week or so. These types are the guys that get me angry, not any newb that joins the place.
