I see they are spoon feeding him another bum in a few weeks at the Wamu. It's almost like the matchmaker is hanging out at grocery stores in Argentina approaching employees asking if they want to fight John Duddy. Give me a break. Bum Killer Duddy and his undefeated mirage must be stopped.

His team knows he can't beat any elite guys, so they're feeding him bums because they know people will come out to watch him.

    He's basically a cash-cow at t his point.

It's unfortunate because I've been following him for a while, and I thought he had potential.

It's too bad. Duddy is talented offensively but he has absolutely zero D which is why he'll never get a major belt.

He seems to be just looking for a paycheck now.

I'd really like to see him in there with Chavez Jr., and if he somehow manages to get past him, go out with a bang against Pavlik.

I could have sworn Billy Lyell popped that cherry. Did they get the fight result over turned on a technicality by writing the petition on the back of a big fat check? :think

    He is what he is....
not all guys are meant to fight the top fighters out there.

But come on, if this didn't dawn on anyone after the Bonstante fight....
No reason to hold it against Duddy, though.

If I were managing John Duddy, I'd get him set up with the IBO title, or the Irish title, and then through careful maatch making and good promoting build him a prosperous career. I would NEVER put him in the ring with guys who were coming up through the ranks when John was. Can you imagine a middleweight Miranda or Zuniga tearng into John Duddy:nono

You're nuts. You think Duddy beat the crap out of bonsante and you're claiming I didn't watch the fight!?

Bonsante landed his lead right on Duddy at will, snapping his head back regularly.
Even Duddy admitted he wasn't happy with his performance.
If you were a Duddy fan there wasn't a damn thing to find promising in how he fought against Bonsante.

I still think Duddy would whoop him good.

Chavez can't carry anything to 160.

Hell he should have been a welterweight anyway.

:rofl Agreed. I would put Valero in the same category and you could even say Sergio Martinez has had his fair share of bums.
