You see a "cherry picker" in my opinion is somebody who picks the easiest fights/routes at his weight.

I can't think of a fighter at 160 who Golovkin has avoided but there is a list who have basically refused to fight him.

If there were 2-3 fighters on Golovkins level at 160 and he hadn't fought them I'd completely agree with you but the fact is he is out there on his own, it happens from time to time, divisions sometimes just have a stand out.

His resume is no where near ATG...but to call him a cherry picker shows your hate and ignorance. Ward is the ONLY fighter he hasn't fought that is willing to fight him. If you wanna call it a duck, whatever. I didn't hear Ward say he'd fight GGG at 160 either, so...

GGG is the most avoided fighter in the sport. As soon as he gets his big pay day vs Canelo and realizes floyd will never fight him i think he`ll start moving up and get the Ward fight, possibly at 168

Golovkin wants to fight Canelo who was yester said to be strongest puncher at middleweight division, so yeah sound a bit odd to call him a cherry picker..

oh...is that what ggg has been waiting on this whole time? p4p, ppv king and 147lb fighter floiyd mayweather fight??? lol...wouldnt suprise me that ggg would be that dumb....i mean you cant make this stuff up "once he realizes floyd will never fight him i think hell move up"..i mean....this cant be real life

when you idiots defend ggg be calling a cherrypicker i think you forget what that means

yeah andre ward is the man he ducked...but not only did he duck ward....he tried to pick fights with others in that weight class....like a chavez...or a froch....but ducked ward...that makes him cherrypicker....thats what cherrypicking is....entering a divison only to take certain fights with guys that arent the champ

Cheery picking is when you avoid the tough fights in your own division, not in the weight class above. GGG will fight anyone in his own division at @160, it's clear that BJS/Canelo/Jacobs don't want the fight. With regards to 168, it's a risk/reward business.

Ward = high risk / moderate reward -> GGG did not push for the fight @168.
Froch = moderate risk / high reward -> GGG wanted the fight even @168.
Chavez Jr = low risk / high reward -> GGG wanted the fight even @168.

Bottom line: You could accuse Golovkin of not being brave enough to move up and take the Ward fight, but that's a far cry from cherry picking.

Hmm, interesting subject that definitely needed a thread to be made about it. It's great to have Nay Sayer/El Chicano and Shockmaster around, or else the board would just devolve into the same people posting about the same stupid **** day after day after day after day after day after..............😳💥🔫

cherrypicking is when you will only fight certain fighters in a division(does have to be the one u started in) but wont fight the champion of that division....that's cherrypicking...and that's what ggg attempted to do at 168

not my fault u don't understand this kiwi....but then again...theres a lot you ggg fanboys don't understand...like how to admit guilt when its blatantly obvious

Do you actually watch Boxing Shockmaster? Or did you just see GGG one day and take an instant dislike to him and make it your life's work to harangue and harass his fans?
