I'm a fan of both fighters, but get in the real world.

Andre fought Paul Smith after months out of the ring, before then fighting Barerra after 9 months out of the ring.

You've got to be incredibly stupid if you think Andre was raring to go, but it was GG who prevented the fight from taking place.

 

andre wasn't "raring" to go....but ggg could have fought Lemieux and they could have met in march/april of this year

instead loeffler said "mabe in 2017 its possible"...knowing full well by 2017 ward would have moved on to lhw.....you've got to be incredibly stupid if you cant see that

the same way ggg is staying at 160 unless a big fight at 168 is in front of him....that's the way lara is working it...rather stay there unless he can get a ggg fight at 160

k2 calls opponents and sets the terms...the city..the venue....

does Floyd and pac sit back and field offers from a bunch of fighters and decide on one? no they select the opponent ...give him a date and a venue and tell him "see you then" and the other guy is happy to show up....that's how ggg works to....he has to make the call and put an offer up.....

Also, Lara would come to 160 if the fight was to happen anyway, he made 160 before hasn't he? He's a pretty big 154er, so he could easily move up for GGG.
