I think it comes down to this. If Trout can continue to move and keep Canelo from setting his feet he stops the combos and power from Canelo. I don't think Canelo can get off without having his feet set and opponent stationary, and this fight should show us. If Canelo wins props from me, no reason to hate.

That said I haven't seen you this worked up since Margo was going into the Mosley fight.

 

I feel Canelo will take this, Trout will win the early rounds and Canelo will take the middle rounds. The fight should get more intense at the end and go to a decision. It will be close and possibly split decision but I think Alvarez will do enough for the W!

Yep, your boy has gassing issues, with the activity and movement Trout will have going, your boy will be on E in the mid rounds.

Trouts been getting a lot of love up in here, and being vastly over rated over his cotto win.

When he looses I hope they return all this love to canelo, but most likely the start of hating will begin.

 

In close he doesn't have better defense, the ability of Rhodes, Hatton, J. Lopez, and Cotto to land cleanly and regularly shows that. What he does have is a nice combination counter game.

Canelo doesn't have better upper body movement, like I said low quality comp has been able to land at will on him, even when he tried that terrible shoulder roll.

I believe Trout will have a filed day peppering him with jabs and hooks off the jab from the outside. If you think Trout's punches don't hurt, ask Cotto, who almost took a knee and then turned around to walk to the corner after eatting a Trout hook to the body.

I have no doubt Saul will land a jab, might even catch him with a grazing hook early, but he doesn't have the skill, stamina, or work rate to land consistantly on Trout.

Trout will put on a boxing clinic.

 

Theres a difference between Cotto's resiliency and Mosley's resiliency.....
Mosley has never been stopped and he prides himself on that.
I do remember in the Alvarez fight that Mosley coasted and was on his bike for at least the last 4 rounds of the fight in order to survive. Cotto has done the same thing in past fights too, but, he's a lot less resilience. He CAN be stopped in survival mode...
