I'm prediciting a KO between rounds 4-7. Canelo is going to derail the too slick too black bandwagon.

this is a pretty compelling match-up and Alvarez is unproven at this level. He does have stamina problem and slowrolls early rounds with some burst combos and ring generalship with the jab. Still Trout can steal the early rounds if he can avoid the burst combos that the judges love.

If Trout was real smart, he'd focus on a body attack early on, so when Alvarez is suppose to turn it on, he won't have the same energy and power reserved as expected. This happens to Authur Abraham when opponents have the ability to implement a smart gameplan. Trout will need to use more footwork than he's used to, to prevent and avoid burst combos.

I hope Alvarez to win though, and i favor him to. Alvarez will need to work to cut off the ring and cut off Trout's path. He'll need to relentlessly pump out his jab to keep himself in the fight, or Trout will be able to dictate the distance and the first punch. Anytime Trout stops for whatever reason, need to drop 3-5 punches in, so a couple can land. He does an outstanding job varying them head to body, which will help slow down Trout's movement into the mid/late rounds... If he's able to slow down Trout enough, he may be able to stop Trout too

Cotto has never been knocked out.
He quits, but he didn't get knocked out.
I haven't seen Cotto hurt as bad as Trout hurt, not since Margo and his plaster wraps.

I think we will see the best Canelo has to offer tonight, and I'm confident we will see Trout elevate his level as well and throughly defeat him.

    your memory is wrong.

mosley threw a total of 16 less punches in rounds 10-12 than canelo so thats not someone in "survival" mode.

    cotto has never been stopped.

his corner threw in the towel in the margo fight and the ref stopped it against paq.

also, its pretty ridiculous to think that because molsey prides himself on not being stopped justifies why saul cuold not stop shane.

this after paq, at 147, had mosley saying that he could not remember the follwing four rounds after being knocked down by manny and a prime shane being knocked down twice by forrest as a ww.

He was rocked, not really hurt...how was that even as bad as Margo I? hell, and that was accumulation, pacquiao is possibly the worse time he was hurt. Trout hit him low a few times too. Trout actually showed a noodle leg in the 4th i believe when he got caught on the ropes.

People seriously need to rewatch that fight...that **** was by no means a 117-111...let alone 119-109 fight.:nut

Team slick and black always re-writing history.

Kind of like how Nate Campbell dominated Juan Diaz, when in eality it was a very close but clear fight.
